CDM were contracted to manage the CRM email campaign for Edinburgh City Council's Christmas and New Year programme. Over period of 4 months some 300,000 HTML emails were sent to registered users of the ECC Christmas Festivals web sites.
CDM create a dynamic CRM database to manage email addresses and subscribers enabling the entire project to be streamlined.
The emails were designed around the brand identity of festive web sites with the purpose of informing subscribers to the festive programme over christmas and New Year. As well as HTML, text only versions of the email were also sent to ensure maximum read rate.
The campaign was tracked to enable detailed reports of user subscribers activity to be logged. This included email open rates, click-through to the main web site as well as detailing "bad" email addresses. |
