We were approached by a Sales and Marketing company from the Netherlands to build a real-time web-based product information management solution.
The system we designed, built and currently provide technical support and maintenance for, meant working closely with more than 40 large blue chip manufactures such as Toshiba, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Sony, Lexmark, Acer and pulling their live web based content into a single managed resource. The result was a wealth of live information from the manufacturers, each retaining their own brand and style, available for retailers to pull into their own websites. Comprehensive statistics were available for the first time ever to the manufacturer, thus product promotions could be measured for success and retailer performances could also be measured.
The system was also complimented by an offline mailing package that allowed the retailer to send an email promotion directly to their clients, branded with the retailers details as if they created the promotion themselves. The mailings were a great success for the manufacturers and retailers as stats on the response are fed directly back into the offline mailing software.
The system was integrated into over 100 companies within the UK in its first year. |
